Our annual reminder that archaeological sites can be fantastic for biodiversity!

These are two monuments with tall banks that have never received fertiliser - absolutely bursting with wildflowers, mosses, wild grasses and sedges - while surrounded by productive grassland.

We were delighted to join the newly reinstated Roscommon Sheep Breeder’s Association on a visit to Tannaghmore Rare Breeds Farm this weekend. Good discussions and a nice visit altogether!
